Treatment in Juba became expensive after a failed coup attempt that put the whole town into gunfire from Sunday night to Monday.

Dralada Stephen Inyani, one of the residents in Juba who was suffering from swollen hand told CRN on Wednesday that some clinics he visited were closed and others became expensive.

Mr Stephen lamented that it was difficult to get food and water including those in the UN compound.

He said the situation remained worst because of the up and down movement.

Mr Stephen urged the people to remain calm.

UN diplomats said the attempted coup killed at least 500 people.
