The two-day unrest due to coup attempt in Juba left 40 people dead and another 170 injured.

National Health Ministry Undersecretary Makur Matur Koryom on Tuesday said they are still receiving patients in Juba Teaching Hospital, Bakhita Radio reported.

He said all staff of the ministry are in the hospital to work together with doctors.

Dr Makur said they are focusing on emergencies but do not forget patients suffering from malaria and other diseases.

He urged the public to donate blood to help the affected people because the Hospital lacks blood.
