Bongo youths get language training in Tonj

Bongo youths in Tonj South County of Warrap State underwent a four-day training to write stories in Bongo Language.
 
Bongo Story Translator Daniel Rabbi Moi said he already wrote books for primary one to three in Bongo language, Don Bosco Radio reported.
 
He advised parents and guardians to allow their children to learn and write stories in Bongo language.
 
An American Languages Researcher in South Sudan Carry Kristo said they heard reports that Bongo people were not speaking their language and was there to find realities on the ground.
 
She said they found that there were many Bongo people in Buseri in Wau, Tonj and Aguka Boma that they speak Bongo language.
 
Ms Kristo encouraged Bongo people to support Daniel and their youths who were trained to write good stories in their language.
