New Nile Bridge construction starts in January

The Japan Embassy in Juba announced that the construction of the new Nile Bridge is expected to start in January.
 
Ambassador Takeshi Akamatsu said engineering teams already assembled equipments for the construction to kick off, Bakhita Radio reported.
 
Telecommunication Minister Rebecca Joshua Okwachi confirmed that laying of the foundation stone will take place in January.
 
She said 2014 would be a blessed year to the people of South Sudan because there were a lot of promises.
 
The two officials made the remarks on Tuesday during the birthday celebration of the Emperor of Japan.
