At least 13 people including children were injured on Monday when a truck moving from Kauda to Yida overturned in Umdarain County of Nuba Mountains.
Nurses confirmed on Tuesday that nine people were admitted in the local hospital with one person amputated.
A victim Mazmor Ibrahim Tembil told Voice of Peace that the truck overturned between Hageri and Akinyar in Umdarain County.
He said the truck was over speeding and overloaded with property and passengers.
Mr Mazmor revealed that victims with minor cases were taken to Jegeba dispensary.
In July, a car coming from Bentiu to Nuba Mountains overturned killing one person and injured many others.
