Four members from the National Teachers Union headed by Daniel Wani Luga on Monday consulted Western Equatoria Education Minister to establish a branch in the state.
Pia Phillip welcomed the guests and asked them to coordinate with the state government, Anisa Radio reported.
The Minister urged the Union to assist the government and Education policy makers by putting teachers in the right direction.
He suggested forming a Union at the national level with representatives from all corners of South Sudan.
The team leader Wani Luga appreciated the minister and assured him of the Union’s cooperation for smooth running of their activities at all levels.
