Residents of Lowoi Payam in Torit County on Friday complained to the Eastern Equatoria Governor that they lack services in their area.

They told Louis Lobong Lojore that they lack of clean drinking water, roads, schools and child abduction, Emmanuel Radio reported.

The residents complained of rampant child abduction perpetrated by cattle raiders suspected to be from Jonglei state.

Governor Lobong said his visit aimed at meeting the people, listen to their concerns and assess possible development.

The Governor inspected incomplete Lowoi Primary School, Lohwa teak plantation and Okaru institute that was destroyed during the war.

State ministers, advisors and members of security forces, accompanied the Governor to Lowoi Payam.
