In the first annual memorial service on December 5 marking the death of columnist Isaiah Diing Abraham, his family called for transparent information about the investigation and quick expedition of the process.

In a press statement, late Diing’s family demanded to know the outcome of the investigation of the apprehended suspects announced by former Information and Broadcasting Minister Barnaba Marial Benjamin.

The family demanded explanation as to why Central Equatoria Police Commissioner was in the scene of killing at six o’ clock in the morning before his juniors arrived.

The statement expressed wonder and suspicion why the police commissioner ordered the dead body to be rushed to Juba Teaching Hospital before any relative saw it.

The family demanded to know why they were kept uninformed of the investigation process.

They asked the extent of America’s Federal Bureau Investigation or FBI involvement in the case as President Salva Kiir announced in 2012, reiterating confidence in government and presidency despite of delayed justice.
