CEPO to launch website to fight corruption

Community Empowerment for Progress Organisation or CEPO announced a website to be launched on December 9, International Day for Fighting Corruption.
 
The aim of the website is to fight corruption in the country, Bakhita Radio reported.
 
CEPO Executive Director Edmond Yakani said on Wednesday the organization will use social media including Twitter and emails to load information on the website.
 
He added that the website www.sscdfinfo.com is still under construction and will be called ‘Declare what you have received and how you spent public funds.’
 
Mr Yakani said journalists’ registration in the ministry of Information should be done in good faith.
 
He added that the registration should be in the beginning of the year.
 
Mr Yakani added that media is the best means to fight corruption is the country.
