South Sudan community Change Agency or SOSSCA, a civil society organization, urged the government to open up more vocational training centres and colleges to empower youths.
SOSSCA Director in Yei Festo Bali Christopher told Easter Radio on Wednesday that financial difficulties hindered many youths from going further and ended their education in senior level.
He called on organizations and governments to fund youth projects in the country to reduce unemployment.
Mr Bali stressed empowering youths would make them stronger, self-reliant and create their own jobs.
He noted that most youths lacked jobs and resorted to criminal acts.
Mr Bali complained that though there were few training institutions and with limited courses for youths.
The director advised the youths to be creative and self-reliant.
