Caritas Torit on Wednesday concluded a three-day training of health staff on monitoring and evaluation for curative, preventive and supportive services.
Caritas Torit Acting Health Coordinator Margaret Pacho told Emmanuel Radio that the training sponsored by Misereor, a German Catholic organization, attracted 15 participants.
She explained that the training targeted heads of health facilities, clinical officers, senior nurses, administrators, medical superintendents working in Caritas Torit health facilities.
Ms Pacho said the training aimed at collecting accurate and simplified data on mortality and morbidity rates at health facilities.
The focus areas of the training conducted at the late Fr Saturlino Hall in Torit included immunization, monitoring and staff attitudes towards patients.
