The organizing committee for the 16 days of activism against gender based violence and Human Rights Day in Yei County conducted its third meeting.
Organizing committee secretary Steven Malish told Easter Radio that the meeting aimed at bringing together the partners to contribute to the success of the 16 days of activism against gender based violence and Human Rights Day celebrations.
He said it was from that meeting that the committee would find out the contribution of the partners in order to fulfil the main objective of celebrations.
Organizing committee chairperson Emma Meling said the meeting allowed partners to present their reports in regard to the contribution lists distributed to them.
She revealed that a proposed budget of 23,900 South Sudanese Pounds would cater for the celebration of the Human Rights Day.
Human Rights Day is celebrated in December 10 and it is prepared with the 16 days of activism against gender based violence.
