The state Judiciary of Western Bahr El Ghazal on Saturday will graduate 17 assistant judges after a nine-month internship in courts of law.

Justice John Yel Aleu explained to Voice of Hope Radio on Thursday that 13 assistant judges were trained in Wau, one in Warrap and three in Northern Bahr El Ghazal.

He said the new graduates will inject fresh blood in the judiciary system, explaining that they were the first internship graduates since independence.

Justice Yel urged the community to attend the graduation ceremony on Saturday, because their presence will symbolize their support to the judiciary.

The graduation will honour Deputy Chief Justice of South Sudan Benjamin Bak at the premises of Wau Court.
