A Ugandan businessman in Juba urged his government to create more jobs for youths as they mark 51 anniversary of independence on Wednesday.

Katusiime Davis told CRN that Ugandan youths face high unemployed challenges forcing them to migrate.

Mr Davis welcomed the news that President Yoweri Museveni and his main opponent Kizza Besiegye were going to meet in the national celebrations at Rukungiri district after ten years of avoiding each other.

He termed it matured politics.

Ugandans in Juba were today busy watching independence celebrations over television.

Uganda attained its independence from the British on October 09 1962.
