Education Director appreciates P 8 mock results

Tombura County Education Director appreciated primary eight mock exams results and encouraged pupils to double efforts to obtain better results in the final exams.
 
Peter Kasiano announced that 165 candidates passed out of 262 pupils who sat the exams, Anisa radio reported.
 
He explained that 134 boys and 31 girls passed equivalent to 63 percent.
 
Mr Kasiano clarified that candidates passed well in all subjects including Mathematics and English.
 
Tombura Acting Press secretary said Ngboko Primary School in Yubu Payam and Renzi in Tombura town were among the best schools. 
 
He revealed a plan to set other mock exams before the end of the year for the secondary students in Tombura County.
 
Tombura County Commissioner Babiro Charles Gbamisi appreciated the county education department for setting mock exams to test the knowledge of pupils to determine future of the coming primary leaving exams.
