Tombura-Yambio Catholic Diocese on Tuesday distributed food items to HIV AIDS patients at Li-Rangu Payam in Yambio County, Western Equatoria State.
The food items comprised of maize flour, sugar, beans, cooking oil and many others, Anisa Radio reported.
Diocesan HIV AIDS Program Manager Phillip Kumboyo told people living with HIV that they were targeting patients who were in groups not individuals.
He advised patients to eat well and follow medical instructions.
One of the patients Cecilia Yoani disclosed that she spent six years with HIV AIDS taking her medicines without complications.
She advised her fellow carriers to be opened and protect other people from getting infected.
