Cabinet approves 7 millions to floods victims

The Council of Ministers in its ordinary sitting on Friday approved seven millions South Sudanese Pounds to rescue flood victims in Bahr El Ghazal and Upper Nile regions.
 
Government spokesperson Michael Makuei Lueth told the press that the money would be used for buying basic requirements that other organizations could not afford.
 
He revealed that the first consignment of relief was transported to affected areas.
 
The Minister called on non-governmental organizations and UN agencies to rescue flood affected people across the country.
 
Cabinet Minister Martin Elia Lumoro said the President of the Republic, Vice President and Ministers pledged personal contributions of one thousand Pounds each to cater for street children across South Sudan.
