Central Equatoria Governor on Wednesday visited livestock, poultry and fisheries demonstration farm in Mapao on Juba-Bor road.
Clement Wani Konga instructed poultry managers to introduce ostrich in the poultry, draw its budget and take it to his office for approval, Bakhita Radio reported.
He urged poultry managers to organize into cooperative society and that milk processing factory would soon be established in Nesitu of Lirya Payam.
Governor Wani Konga urged people to embark on agricultural production and industrial products to make Central Equatoria an industrialized state.
State Minister for Animal Resources and Fisheries Gerald Francis Nyukuye appreciated the visit of the Governor.
He disclosed that the demonstration farm was to discourage foreigners from selling low quality dairy product in Juba, terming it as something shameful.
Animal and Fisheries Director-General George Camillo Lodu accompanied the Governor and the minister to the farm.
