More than 80 primary teachers are undergoing a three-week in-service training at Alero Education Centre in Yei River County of Central Equatoria State.
The training aimed at equipping teachers with practical skills to improve the quality of education in the state, Easter Radio reported.
Yei County Acting Education Director Philip Taban said the training targets teachers with low teaching standards to enable them pass quality knowledge to pupils.
The training drew participants from Lainya, Morobo and Yei Counties.
Step and Episcopal Church of the Sudan and World Relief funded the training.
