Ten County executive directors and other representatives from various ministries underwent a two-day revenue management training in Yambio, Western Equatoria State.
State Revenue Authority Director-General Lawrence Bilar Wanga explained that the training was to strategize transparency and streamline different departments of revenue collections in the state, Anisa Radio reported.
He stressed the need for public awareness because many people do not have clear information about revenue collection.
Western Equatoria Governor Bangasi Joseph Bakosoro urged state Finance Ministry and Revenue Authority to be transparent and accountable to the public.
State Finance Minister John Rucci urged county executive directors to present their budget to the ministry.
He asked directors and tax collectors to cooperate.
The workshop started on Monday and concluded today.
