Police in Torit, Eastern Equatoria state are investigating a woman over the killing of a 50-year old man at her house.
Mathia Iriwo, a resident in Torit town was found dead and his body dumped into a pit at Inkas residential area last week, Emmanuel Radio reported.
The brutal killing of Iriwo shocked residents of the area.
The former state minister of Public Administration Claudio Suleiman Liling confirmed the incident and the arrest of the suspect.
He said the police were investigating the killing.
The deceased was a watchman at the state Health ministry headquarters in Torit.
