South Sudan needs administrative reform

 Juba University School of Management lecturer said South Sudan needs administrative reform to achieve objectives of using less time, resources and energy.
 
Abraham Akot Riek said administrative situation in South Sudan after the independence was still weak requiring reform and restructure, Voice of Hope reported.
 
He said authorities have to scrutinize recruitment and promotion process.
 
Professor Akot said South Sudanese need to review weaknesses and challenges because there are symptoms indicating that some public places do not run well.
 
He said employment in administrative position requires related qualification.
 
Professor Akot said to employ five people, one hundred applicants have to be interviewed based on qualifications not tribal or personal relationship.
 
He advised employing right people to right positions based on merits.
