Health Secretariat in the Nuba Mountains region planned to monitor hygiene in the markets amid increasing infections among residents.
Acting Health Secretary Joseph Stephanus told Voice of Peace that they planned to form a committee to monitor cleanliness in business centres.
He explained that the committee would screen out unclean workers in market places soon.
Mr Stephanus urged communities to keep their containers and surroundings clean.
The Acting Health Secretary advised the population to maintain cleanliness and take a person to hospital when sick.
