Nadapal-Juba road construction is due to kick off in the near future.
Transport minister Kwong Danhier told the press that after the oil shut down road work suddenly stopped, Bakhita Radio reported.
He explaned that Nadapal-Juba road’s construction is a reality because its feasibility study was completed and a lot of work was done.
Mr Danhier said the World Bank promised to finance Nadapal-Juba road’s construction and that the national government would put in some money and Kenyan authorities will do their part.
Mr Danhier said the ministry was planning to construct railways in the country connecting Juba to Gulu through Nimule.
He said roads and railways would boost the business sector in the country.
