Finance and Commerce minister on Wednesday withdrew the 2013-2014 budget from the national legislature.
The budget was presented to the Legislature in July for discussion.
Aggrey Tisa Sabuni cited re-structuring of the national government as the cause of withdrawing the budget.
He said there are new units that were not catered for in the 2013-2014 budget.
The Speaker of the legislature directed the Economic and Financial Development Committee chairperson to implement the ministerial request to withdraw the budget.
The Speaker of the Council of States Joseph Bol Chan chaired the sitting.
