HIV AIDS increases in Yei

A volunteer working with widows, orphans and people living with HIV AIDS on Wednesday said the pandemic is rapidly increasing In Yei River County of Central Equatoria State.
 
Grace Kadayi told Easter Radio that in six months they tested over 1008 people and got 165 HIV AIDS positive.
 
She said at only half of August they tested 27 people HIV positive.
 
Ms Kadayi described the situation as worrying because everyday they test and get people HIV positive.
 
She lamented that people are becoming insincere to share tested results with their partners.
 
Ms Kadayi complained lack of motivation and too much work.
 
The volunteer said they sympathize with the long line of people coming for voluntary test everyday.
 
Ms Kadayi called on NGOs and the government to support HIV AIDS efforts to minimize the killer disease.
