Two brothers of one family were shot dead on Sunday night in Hai Tarawa residential area in Juba prompting citizens to march to the national Legislative Assembly to express their grievances on rampant killings in the city.
An anonymous eyewitness at the neighbourhood told Bakhita Radio that the incident took place at midnight.
He explained that nine people in police uniform claiming to be night patrollers entered the compound of the two deceased, knocked at the door, when the deceased came out they demanded money him when failed to get money, they shot the two brothers death.
The eye witness said they were closely following the incident but could not come out to rescue the situation because they have no guns.
National Assembly Speaker James Wani Igga said security organs arrested one of the suspected criminals involved in the incident and that the security are tracing out the others.
He said the House will summon ministers of Interior, Defence and National Security to answer questions on the insecurity in the town.
Mr Wani passed his condolence to the family of the deceased.
Hundred of citizens gathered at the gate of the national parliament to mourn the two brothers killed at night by armed criminals.
