Yei Catholic Diocese youths on Monday began a four-day pastoral workshop at Lutaya Diocesan Pastoral Centre.
The youths came from Christ the King, St Joseph, Holy Family, Assumption, Mary Immaculate – Tore, St Augustine Umbasi Parishes and all their chapels, Easter Radio reported.
Christ the King Parish Priest Tom Poru Martin who was delegated by the Vicar-General Zachariah Angutua Sebit to open the workshop told the youths to be messengers of their parishes.
He urged them to take the workshop very seriously in order to carry the same message to all young people in the diocese.
Fr Poru encouraged the participants to make the workshop fruitful wishing them all the best in their deliberations.
He was speaking during the opening session of the youths’ workshop in Yei.
