Unity should first prevail among all communities in South Sudan.

A former Red Army member Mark Lokorai Dedemoi said unity is the first to clear out insecurity, cattle rustling and robbery in the country, Emmanuel Radio reported.

He said Eastern Equatoria and the entire country need unity because the Comprehensive Peace Agreement and the independence were achieved because people united for a purpose.

Mr Lokorai said the current confusion in the country resulted to severe suffering of some communities.

He recalled that the liberation struggle claimed many lives.

Mr Lokorai said after independence people should be enjoying not suffering because they suffered a lot during the war.
