A mobile operator handed over to Juba University library ten computers, a six-room toilet and solar panels to conclude its 21 days of yellow care.
Library Deanship Salah Khatir confirmed that MTN handed toilets, ten computers and the solar panels to fulfil its promises, Bakhita Radio reported.
He said the solar panels and the latrines will help both staff and students.
MTN Chief Executive Officer Phillip Basimire said the offer came a day after the former South Africa president Nelson Mandela celebrated 95 years.
He said MTN emulated Mandela’s heart of humanity to the less privileged community.
University of Juba vice chancellor Agrey Abate said the computer centre in the library is now fully equipped.
He added that the library was serving without a toilet and the problem is now solved.
Higher Education Deputy Minister Gabriel Kuc thanked MTN for the good work done calling on the private sectors to support higher education in the country.
