Veterinary Science College dean in the University of Bahr El Ghazal on Friday resigned and accused the administration of inconsistency in budget allocation.

Ambrose Samuel Jubara told Voice of Hope that he resigned following disagreements between the vice chancellor and the deans’ board.

He accused the vice chancellor of insisting on creating a university account with only his signature.

Dr Samuel said the board agreed to open a bank account with three signatories.

He warned that the University may slide towards instability and protracted administrative crisis in the coming academic years.

Dr Samuel noted that Bahr El-Ghazal University does not follow the academic welfare of its staff and students.

The vice chancellor relieved the Academic secretary Dr Kuol Pal Deng and Libraries dean Mr Malual Majok.

The university administration could not be reached for comments.
