A Catholic priest at Chamri Chapel in Heiban County of Nuba Mountains advised couples to bring up their children in a Christian way of life.
Yahwana Alamin while blessing the marriage of David and Salwa, Jeremiah and Mariam, Don Bosco and Liba on Sunday congratulated the couples, Voice of Peace reported.
He called on the brides and bridegrooms to love, help one another and live in peace.
Bridegroom Don Bosco said if one loves God and puts trust in him, then one wife is enough.
He appealed to Christians to follow God’s way and marry in the Church.
16 people received the sacraments of Confirmation during the service.
A large congregation including three priests, Comboni Missionary Sisters from Saints Peter & Paul Gidel Parish, catechists, youths and elders attended the wedding ceremony.
