Aguka School in Tonj South is facing problems of pupils’ pregnancies.

Aguka Boma school teacher Charles Kopia said the area needs awareness on early marriage and pregnancy, Don Bosco Radio reported.

He said most of the girls disappear from the school in class four due to early pregnancies.

Mr Kopia blamed parents and guardians for forcing their girls into early marriage rather than focusing on their education.

He said parents and guardians considered girls as sources of revenue.

Mr Kopia called on parents and guardians to support their daughters’ education.

He urged all the parents and guardians to protect their girls from early marriage and pregnancy.
