Uganda’s Koboko District chairman urged foreigners in South Sudan to respect the law of the country.
Nginya Hussein Saied said there are individuals within the government who can torture others but it should not be taken as government act against the foreigners, Easter Radio reported.
Mr Saied appealed to Yei citizens to maintain peace and live in peaceful coexistence with foreigners.
The Ugandan national was speaking on Tuesday during the second independence anniversary celebrations at Yei Freedom Square.
