Yei kicks off national healing, reconciliation prayer

Yei River County in Central Equatorial kicked off the long awaited National Prayer Day for healing, reconciliation and peace.
 
Commissioner Juma David Augustine said the people of Yei have dedicated themselves to God, Easter Radio reorted.
 
He explained each one knows well his or her sins against the others and for that reason all should reconcile.
 
The Commissioner called on people to remain united and influence the government to work according to God’s Word.
 
He advised all participants, Christians and Muslims alike, to purify their hearts to live Independence Day well.
 
State MP Cecilia Oba quoted Governor Clement Wani Konga who said in Juma that the Church realized that the country is not going well.
 
She added that big officials are undermining small officials in the Government and it is a big problem.
