Western Equatoria Information Minister and Zain mobile operator managers met on Wednesday in Juba and discussed the installation of Yambio FM boosters on the Zain Antenna in Nagero, Mundri and Mvolo counties.
Charles Barnaba Kisanga said the managers accepted the proposal and promised to extend their mobile services to all counties in the state.
He noted that the new one-kilowatt transmitter can reach Ezo and Tambura.
Mr Kisanga explained that he bought one booster and the UN donated two.
He said Zain technicians will arrive to Yambio next week to fix the transmitter and the boosters.
