Yei River County Roads and Bridges Department in Central Equatoria State started grading major roads in Yei town.
Assistant Director for Roads and Bridges Anthony Juma Morgan said the department completed grading the road connecting Christ the King to EPC, Easter Radio reported.
He said they also graded the road coming from the Traffic Police to the Mosque.
Mr Juma added that Dar es Salam will be the last road to be graded.
The Assistant Director said roads grading aims to ease traffic flow ahead of the independence celebrations.
