Western Bahr El Ghazal Trade Chamber Office strongly questioned the Municipal Council Authority over what it called workers jurisdiction.
The Chamber accused the Municipal Council for waving out their power over the market, Voice of Hope reported.
Chairperson Charles Wol said the Municipal Council is issuing licenses to traders without an authorization letter from the Trade Chamber.
He pointed out that any trader who wants to register should contact the Trade Chamber Office before acquiring the trade license from the municipal authorities.
Mr Wol revealed that the Municipal Council accused his office over market collection discrepancies.
He said his office surrendered the market protection fee and the garbage collection contribution to the Municipal Council.
Mr Wol mentioned that his office also rejected the request of the municipal authority to be part of the review committee on the alleged market collection discrepancy, saying the municipal authority does not co-operate.

The Trade Chamber threatens to appeal to the state governor stopping the market collection and garbage fee contributions since they are not represented in the Municipal Council.
Municipal Council chairperson Joseph Ulak clarified that the market protection fee collection was given to the Trade Chamber as part of co-operation.

Mr Ulak confirmed that the Municipality is the one now responsible for the market protection fee collection.
He called for the Trade Chamber to assist the municipality in delivering services to the citizen of Western Bahr El Ghazal.
