DEPUTY GOVERNOR WARNS YOUTHS AGAINST TRIBAL EMPLOYMENT

Eastern Equatoria Deputy Governor on Friday warned young people against tribal employment and advised them to desist from tribalism.

Jerome Gama Surur was receiving resolutions from the four-day youth peace conference handed over by the Youth Union chairperson Epone Emmanuel Lolimo, Emmanuel Radio reported.

Mr Gama promised to implement the resolutions telling the youths that there would be no employment on tribal lines.

The Deputy Governor warned the youths against political manipulation for personal gain.

Mr Gama appealed to donors to organize activities in the counties, payams and bomas for the benefit of young people in the rural areas.

The Deputy Governor advised the Youth Union leadership to play vital roles in promoting peace and harmony among young people in the state.

He told the youths to discourage cattle raiding that disrupt happiness.
