There would be no more plastic bottles floating on the streets of Juba and the River Nile because they will be recycled.

Environment Rehabilitation Programme Advisor Michael Olivier Labolle said they introduced three R which stand for reduce, reuse and recycle the plastic bottles in the town, Radio Bakhita reported.

Mr Olivier said the recycle project was environmental and educational to vulnerable women who have no chances to earn their living.

He said project would work with pupils in the future to create some beautiful arts out of waste.

Mr Olivier said environmental protection and sustainable development will only happen if policies are in place.

He made the remarks during the World Environment Day celebration on Wednesday in Juba.
