Catholic Diocese of Torit is preparing to receive its Apostolic Administrator.
Vatican on May 16 appointed Fr Thomas Oliha Apostolic Administrator to the diocese to fill the vacant seat of the Bishop.Fr Joseph Ukelo, former Vicar General of the diocese told Radio Emmanuel that on Monday they formed several committees.
He added that Christians and clergy are mobilizing communities to welcome the Apostolic Administrator on Saturday.
Fr Ukelo urged the faithful to show love and respect to the Apostolic Administrator by turning up in large numbers to receive him.
He added that Fr Oliha offered himself to serve his people by responding to their call.
Fr Ukelo explained that the Apostolic Administrator will be responsible to oversee the pastoral and social activities in the diocese.
