At least 30 Army combatants on Monday received training on Sexually Transmitted Infections and HIV AIDS at Torit military barracks in Eastern Equatoria State.

Captain Jina Iyafok Pierre one of the reproductive health service providers said they are sensitizing combatants to be able to protect themselves and others, Radio Emmanuel reported.

She said the campaign also aimed at making the soldiers to be opened health issues and access medical services without fear and stigma.
Captain Iyafok said they would soon sensitize the people of Iluhum and Malakia on Sexually Transmitted Infections and HIV AIDS.
Torit Military Hospital provides voluntary counselling and testing or VCT services on HIV AIDS and other sexual transmitted infections.
