The Catholic Bishop of Yei on Friday named a county meeting as reconciliation because it was organized to address the arrest of Kakwa local chiefs.
Bishop Erkulano Lodu Tombe said people should understand that the commissioner was not part in the arrest of the local chiefs and accept his honest confession.He asked Juma David Augustine to forgive all the people who labelled him a tricky commissioner and asked the people to all forgive the county commissioner if they think he is wrong.
Bishop Lodu told people to leave out lying and gossiping, say the truth and analyse the situation before talking about it.
He cautioned against people who planned to cause conflict among Kakwa community.
The Bishop of Yei advised people to stop generalizing individual matters and deal with the individuals who have problems.
Bishop Lodu also advised the people to respect the authority.
He asked them to talk responsibly while addressing issues.
Bishop Lodu encouraged Commissioner Juma to continue leading the county with wisdom.
