Commissioner tells citizen of Jour River County to plant early as ways to reduce famine

The commissioner of Jour River County of Western Bahr el Ghazal State James Ernest Makuei, appealed to the citizens of the county to plant early this year to reduce famine.

James Ernest points out that this year, due to the high temperature, indicates that it will rain soon this year, he asked the citizens of the province to start agricultural work early so that the harvest will be early and reduce famine in the province.

Ernest Makuei encouraged the people of the district not to focus on agriculture alone, but also to search for wild fruits to fill the gap and not rely on organizations.

At the same time, the commissioner appealed to citizens to use their local resources to enroll their children in schools to ensure a good future for the district.

The commissioner of the Jour River District, James Ernest, made the remarks on Friday to citizens in the Bariyar area of the Jour River District.
