The Vicar General Wau Catholic Diocese Fr. Germano Bernardo Baku has called the faithful to respect people with special needs, supporting them is necessary as one body in Christ.

He warned the public to avoid ignoring people with disabilities due to their appearance because most of the time when they come close to the people what comes to their mind is only that they are coming to beg.

Bernardo Baku questions faithful whether they see the needs of those who come around them or they close their eyes and refuse to see them.

Bakuurges people to work for the common good, not for their interests.

’’Do we really work for the common good of other people to see the needs of other people or do we work only when we get a benefit’’ he narrates.

The Vicar General in the Catholic Diocese of Wau Fr. Germano Bernardo Baku was speaking to the congregation at Our Lady of Fatima Gordim Parish in Aweil East County, Northern Bahr el Ghazal State.
