Sudanese communities displaced by the recent violence in Western and Eastern Darfur are calling on the Sudan Army Forces and Rapid Support Forces to stop fighting.
They said peace is needed to allow those trapped in war zones to have a vacation.
The families who fled Fashir in Darfur and El Jenia said their children remain trapped in the war zone and there is a need for both parties to allow the vacation of the civilians.
Juma Mohamed Abdallah the head of the Darfurian community in Raja said despite their separation from their family members, their condition in Raja County of Western Bahr el Ghazal state still worsening.
Adam Mohamed Hassen also called on the RSF to stop fighting and to allow their children, families, and their properties to reach them without any interference.
War broke out between the Sudanese Armed Forces (SAF) under Abdel Fattah al-Burhan and the paramilitary Rapid Support Forces Hemiti in April last year forcing hundreds of thousands to neighboring Countries.
According to the United Nations, more than 300,000 people have fled homes following fighting in the city of Wad Medani, the provincial capital of Jazeera province, after the Rapid Support Forces attacked the city late last year.
The US State Department said the Rapid Support Forces and the Sudanese Armed Forces are responsible for either war crimes or crimes against humanity, or both, in Darfur.
The fighting that began in the capital has descended into ethnic violence. Last week, the leader of RSF met with Uganda’s presidents, Kenya, and Ethiopia in search of IGAD roles to bring the two sides together for a peace solution.
