The Catholic’s Bishop of Wau Diocese, Matthew Remijo Adam has strongly rejected the system of nepotism and discrimination in South Sudan.

Bishop argues that the current government in the state is using a nepotism system in which people get jobs without formal qualifications.

He says such practice will not help the development of the country because right people are denied access to opportunities.

The Catholic leader believes that governance should work for the rights of people across the country, not a particular group. Bishop Remijo urges the authorities to promote equality, good governance, and discrimination against the citizens.

The bishop appealed to people to learn and get away or eradicate ignorance because education brings development and peaceful coexistence among societies.

He encourages believers not to lose hope despite the difficult situations and circumstances, but to focus on education to overcome all these difficulties.
