Banda believes that “paying attention to media paves way for sustainable development in South Sudan.”

Media Authority’s Director, Sapana Abuyi cautioned the students to work on the accents of their mother tongue, adding that, it devaluates the profession.
Sapana reiterated that “journalism does not encourage ‘copy and paste work.”

He warned social media users to refrain from defamation and social media attacks, noting that, cyber laws are already out pending parliament endorsement for it to become effective, any time soon.

“Cases of social media attacks are filling up in our desks, be careful when posting,” Abuyi warned.
