The Bishop of Yei catholic Diocese Erkolano Lodu Tombe is appealing for justice to prevail on the destruction of St. Joseph Catholic parish in Lutaya area of Yei.
Speaking at Christ the King the Catholic prelate states that the suspected leader of the criminals had been apprehended and they are waiting for investigation to take place
Bishop Lodu appreciates the SSPDF convene force in the area for the arrest the culprits.
Erkolano stresses that everything which has been destroyed to nothing express disappointment on church
The Bishop explains that the diocese is working together with the security organs and the county government to see that all the perpetrators are brought to book.
He Call for justice to prevail, citing that church has forgiven the wrong doers.
On 24th March 2022, some criminals entered St. Joseph Parish in Lutaya area and remove the roofing of the Church and its iron sheet with no reason behind.
