Three children have been abducted from Nyolo Boma on Monday morning, revealed Okee Joseph Oryem, Agoro Payam Administrator of Magwi County.
He explained that the children are between two to four years from two different families
According to him, the kidnappers forced the parents of these children to carry those children for nearly six kilometres.
“This happened yesterday around 8 AM in the morning. So, this happened when the mother and the father went for charcoal work in the bush, they went together with the children now when those people come and attack them, they grasp the three children, they let the father to carry the children almost six kilometres away from where they abducted, reaching there they left the father to come back they went with the children”, the Payam Administrator explained.
Okee says the groups were heavily armed, making it difficult for the youth in the area to pursue them.
“Is very difficult to follow because somebody with the gun you cannot follow him, it is the same as I told you some days ago, I say now the community has much fear because the present of the cattle in the area will bring these to abducted the children, I have reported to the county commissioner immediately yesterday”, Joseph regretted.
In 2019 three children belonging to Nyolo Boma chief were also abducted from the area.
